Flipped. began with a straightforward idea: finding a potentially profitable second-hand technology deal shouldn't require hours of jumping between websites, checking prices and making rough calculations.
The app is being developed as a dedicated iPhone experience for exploring used electronics and researching their resale potential. Its intended audience includes people looking into buying and reselling products such as MacBooks, iPhones and other consumer technology.
At the centre of the concept is a combination of listing discovery, product information and AI-assisted analysis. The goal is to help users understand what a device might be worth, compare possible opportunities and make more confident, research-backed decisions.
The interface has been designed with a modern, minimal aesthetic. The product vision includes browsing categories, filtering listings, inspecting product details, saving interesting opportunities and asking an AI assistant for research support. Not all of these features are fully implemented.
On the technical side, Flipped. includes native iOS development using Swift and SwiftUI, alongside a separate Node.js backend. Development work also involves eBay Browse API integration, Gemini AI and Firebase. Some integrations still require configuration, testing or further development.
